    • Full Digital Inspection of Vehicle at time of appointment – Inspect vehicle and note body damage and lights operations (warning, indicator, exterior, interior). Test drive vehicle and check all systems including brakes, steering, engine performance, and account for visible leaks. Perform overall health report of vehicle.
    • Includes testing and inspection of electrical circuits and components as needed. Connect scan tool or other test equipment to determine cause of failure. Removal of components as needed for access.
    • Customer states vehicle has completely lost ability to move in reverse, and intermittently loses ability to drive forward or move at all. When moving, customer could feel vehicle slipping in gears. Vehicle towed to shop. Technician attempted to test drive vehicle to duplicate slipping. At a stop, vehicle lost ability to move forward. Towed back to shop. Technician checked for codes and found DTCs: P0335: Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit. P0336: Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit Performance. P0573: Brake Switch Circuit 1 High V. P0700: Transmission Control Module Request MIL Illumination. P0716: Input turbine Shaft Speed Sensor "A" Circuit. P0796: Pressure Control Solenoid "C" Performance Stuck/Off. Technician noted engine had momentary trouble starting and threw the aforementioned crank sensor codes, with no readings from the tachometer. Vehicle runs okay at this time but if issue persists/returns, further diagnosis may be required. Technician inspected transmission fluid and found fluid at correct level, but is extremely burnt and contaminated with metal debris from clutch. Tech noted transmission whining and grinding in gear. Recommend transmission replacement based on vehicle symptoms, codes, and condition of transmission. Warranty authorize partial coverage and supply used transmission with 12/12 warranty. Customer authorize repair. Remove failed transmission assembly and flush transmission oil cooler with cleaner/flush kit. Replaced all transmission lines and seals. Replaced cracked transmission dipstick tube. Installed used transmission. Replaced transmission oil filter and gasket with new GM parts. Filled system to correct level of new, clean fluid. Performed transmission relearn procedure with scan tool and test drive to verify all transmission operations normal and no codes returned.
    • TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY – Remove & Replace – Denali,AWD,6.2L Eng w/Skid Plate – [Includes: Remove & Replace Transmission Filter and Gasket]
    • Flush transmission oil cooler with flush and cleaning kit
    • Technician found transmission line(s) leaking. Technician recommend replacing all transmission lines to address leaks and protect trans. assembly replacement. Customer authorize repair. Replaced trans. lines with GM parts while failed transmission was removed.
    • Technician found oil cooler line and cooler adapter plate gasket leaking. Customer authorize replacement. Replaced oil cooler hose with GM kit (gasket, bolt/screw, and connector).
    • Technician found A/C Belt cracking – Recommend replacing both belts. Customer authorize. Remove alternator belt for access to A/C Belt. Replaced cracking belt and secondary belt with labor overlap.
    • Technician found on inspection coolant freezing temp. measuring at +10 degrees at best – Freeze protection insufficient. Recommend flushing cooling system and adding correct ratio of new clean coolant and water to protect from damage to engine. Customer authorize. Flush entire cooling system with flush machine, Valvoline Cleaner and conditioner. Fill system to required amount with new coolant. Freeze temp now measures at -35 degrees as required.

    • INSPECTION: CHECK FOR FLUID LEAKS
    • Customer states Valvoline noted transmission fluid is low and requests checking for leaks. Found transmission oil cooler lines leaking from transmission to radiator, and transmission to oil cooler. Customer authorize replacement. Remove and replace both leaking hoses with OEM GM Parts.

    • Customer states steering does not work well when pulling out of parking lots. It works better once moving or after the engine has been running, but when stationary and trying to turn, it's hard to turn and makes a low noise. Technician inspected Power Steering Pump and verified pump was noisy and failing. Reservoir leaking at seals, fluid extremely dirty and dark. Technician found air in power steering system as well. Technician recommends replacing power steering pump based on apparent long term damage and abnormal noise (Failing) and then flushing system. Customer authorize. Remove and replace power steering pump with Motorcraft assembly. Replace leaking seals on reservoir and flush system with Valvoline cleaner and new, clean fluid. Burp system and test drive to verify power steering no longer making noise and no longer leaking. Steering now handles well at this time.
    • POWER STEERING PUMP – Remove & Replace
    • Fluid contaminated. Hook up Power Steering Flush machine to vehicle and flush system with Valvoline chemical cleaner.
    • LOF service due. Drain and refill with new oil and replace oil filter.
    • Technician found intermittent difficulties starting vehicle. Customer states condition has been chronic and is resolved by the position of the key in ignition (needs pushed in further).

    • Customer states heater is inop. Technician measured temperate difference on highest setting versus lowest setting and verified door actuators engaging. Recommend flushing heater core. Customer authorize. Flush heater core and cooling system. Heater works but core is still partially blocked. Technician states heater core may need replaced in the future.
    • Flush entire cooling system with flush machine, Valvoline Cleaner and conditioner. Fill system to required amount with new coolant.
    • Thermostat and water pump leaking – Recommend replacing. Customer authorize. Remove and replace water pump and test drive vehicle to verify no further leaks at this time.
    • WATER PUMP – Remove & Replace – 3.7L Eng

    • Customer states vehicle is making a growling/grinding noise on sharp turns, believes on both sides but can hear a noise louder on right turns. Stated had front right ball joints replaced 2x in CA 5-6 years ago. Technician test drove vehicle twice duplicating driving conditions and was unable to duplicate customer concern at this time. Unable to diagnose noise.
    • Brake fluid dirty and contaminated. Flush brake system and fill with up to 1 Qt of new, clean brake fluid. Bleed system.
    • Technician found oil pan leaking – Recommend resealing. Customer authorize, Remove oil pan after oil has been drained for oil change. Reseal oil pan with silicone. Refill system with correct level of oil and test drive to verify no further leaks at this time.
    • LOF service due. Drain and refill with new oil and replace oil filter.
    • Customer believes A/C needs recharged. Technician inspected A/C system and found A/C pressure low. Recommend recharging system with dye and rechecking within 30 days. Customer authorize. Technician recovered remaining refrigerant from system and recharged with UV Leak detection dye. Unable to detect any leaks at this time. Reschedule to check again.

    • – Customer states they have a power distribution block that sits on top of the battery. Customer has an amplifier. They connected the power wire from the amplifier to the terminal next to the positive terminal and states they should have attached the cable to the positive side instead. States vehicle started fine a few times but now doesn't start. Includes testing and inspection of electrical circuits and components as needed. Connect scan tool or other test equipment to determine cause of failure. Removal of components as needed for access.
    • VERIFIED NO CRANK-NO START. CONNECTED SCAN TOOL AND FOUND OVER 20 CODES FOR LOW BATTERY OR POWER INPUT LOW. WHILE TESTING POWER CIRCUITS TECH FOUND POSITIVE POWER TERMINAL AT JUNCTION BOX LOOSE. NUT MISSING FROM CABLE CONNECTION. INSTALLED NUT AT CABLE CONNECTION AND CLEARED ALL CODES. TRUCK NOW STARTS AND RUNS FINE. TECH ALSO NOTED AMP WIRE FROM BATTERY TO FUSE HOLDER WAS NOT CORRECTLY SECURED AND HAD COME OUT OF FUSE HOLDER. CORRECTLY INSTALLED AMP WIRE INTO FUSE HOLDER. TEST DROVE VEHICLE SEVERAL MILES TO VERIFY ALL OPERATIONS NORMAL AT THIS TIME.

    • Customer states Parking Brake Light is on but is not engaged. States brakes also make "airy swooshing" noises. Technician recovered DTCs C0031-29: LF Speed Sensor. C0034-29: RF Speed Sensor. B1111-49: EPB Internal Electronic Failure. B1111-53: EPB Deactivated. Inspected Electronic Parking Brake System with scan tool and found brake system deactivated and set in "Service Mode." Technician manually deactivated "Service Mode" on brake system and cleared DTCs. Test drove vehicle and Parking Brake Light and EPB Codes did not return. All operations normal.
    • Technician recovered Pending Code P0420. DTC is not active and is unable to be diagnosed at this time but may need addressed in the future. Technician inspected vehicle and recommends replacing front tires soon – Before winter. Tested battery and battery returned at 487/750 CCA's – Recommend replacing. Wiper blades are streaking and should be replaced soon. Cabin air filter dirty. Throttle plate is dirty – Perform 3-Part Fuel Service and Injector Flush soon based on mileage and condition. Customer did not authorize recommendations at this time.

    • VERIFIED FRONT PADS AT 2MM THICK AND ROTORS WARPED. AIR IN BRAKE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM. REPLACED FRONT PADS AND ROTORS. PERFORMED ABS BRAKE BLEED PROCEDURE WITH SCAN TOOL AND MANUALLY BLED BRAKE SYSTEM TO REMOVE AIR. NO FURTHER PULSATION WHEN BRAKING AND BRAKE PEDAL IS FIRM.
    • Customer had rear brakes replaced recently but notices brakes pulsating. Authorize replace front brakes and test drive to verify no further pulsating. If pulsating persists, check rear rotors – Rear rotors and pads good.
    • Customer states they have to pump brakes – Request bleed system.
    • LOF service due. Drain and refill with new oil and replace oil filter.
