- REPLACED MAIN DASHBOARD HARNESS CONNECTOR. SOLDERED AND HEAT SHRINK WRAPPED ALL REPAIRS AND RE-WRAPPED ENTIRE HARNESS. REMOVED BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE) AND FOUND IT HAS BEEN TAMPERED WITH. TECHNICIAN VERIFIED BCM WAS IN FACT OPERATIONAL AND REPAIRED MULTIPLE IMPROPERLY REPAIRED WIRING AND SHIELDING. REMOVED DASHBOARD MOUNTING BOLTS AND NUTS TO ACCESS WIRING HARNESS THAT WAS PINCHED BETWEEN DASH BRACKET AND BULKHEAD CAUSING SHORT CIRCUITS AND NON-FUNCTIONING CONSUMERS. REPAIRED SAID HARNESS AND RELOCATED TO PREVENT RUBBING AND SHORTING IN THE FUTURE. VERIFIED ALL REPAIRS. DASH ACCESSORIES AND ALL CONSUMERS ARE OPERATING AS DESIGNED AT THIS TIME.
- 1. BATTERY IS INTERNALLY FAULTY. TECHNICIAN ATTEMPTED TO CHARGE BATTERY ENOUGH TO SCAN VEHICLE AND WAS UNABLE TO BRING BATTERY TO LIFE. RECOMMEND REPLACE BATTERY AND CONTINUE TESTING. 2. TECHNICIAN FOUND IMPROPERLY REPAIRED WIRING AND CONNECTOR UNDER LOWER DASH KICK PANEL ON DRIVERS SIDE. PLEASE REFER TO INSPECTION FOR PHOTOGRAPHS. WIRES WERE TOUCHING AND SHORTED AND SOME WERE LEFT BARE. TECH RECOMMENDS REPAIRING WIRING AND CONTINUE TESTING. 3. FOUND CLEAR PLASTIC INSPECTION COVERS MISSING ON MAXI-FUSES IN ENGINE BAY FUSE PANEL. RECOMMEND REPLACE FUSES TO PREVENT DAMAGE. 4: FOUND MULTIPLE CONNECTORS AND WIRES IMPROPERLY REPAIRED AND REQUIRE IMMEDIATE ATTENTION.
- CUST STATES THE LIGHTS ON THE DASH ARE NOT WORKING, THE VEHICLE WAS STUCK IN PARK (TOW TRUCK DRIVER GOT IT OUT) THE CAR STARTED AFTER CHARGED AND WOULD NOT SHUT OFF WITH THE PUSH BUTTON CHECK AND ADVISE. (NEEDS FUEL).

- Customer states A/C has an odor. Verify cabin air filter not causing smell. A/C system has bacterial growth. Apply spray foam cleaning agent to A/C Evaporator Core. Rinse clean, and apply anti-bacterial refresh spray to core. A/C now no longer emits odor.
- TECH REMOVED AND REPLACED BOTH FRONT BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS DUE TO WEAR. TECH TORQUED FRONT WHEELS TO 76FT. LB NO FURTHER ISSUES AT THIS TIME.

- REMOVED OLD OIL FILTER HOUSING FOR RESEAL DUE TO EXTREME OIL LEAK AT FRONT OF ENGINE AND OIL AND COOLANT MIX IN COOLANT BOTTLE. CLEANED HOUSING AND INSTALLED NEW ADAPTER SEAL AND TORQUED TO MERCEDES SPEC. INSTALLED NEW FILTER. VERIFIED NO FURTHER INTERMIX OR LEAKING
- Clean build-up from throttle body and idle air control motor where applicable. Run heavy duty professional cleaning chemical through intake system to clean deposits from intake valves, de-carbon intake system and combustion chambers. Add long term fuel system treatment to tank.
- Isolate injector rail from fuel system. Chemical flush all injectors with Valvoline professional-grade injector cleaner.
- Flush entire cooling system with flush machine, Valvoline Cleaner and conditioner. Fill system to required amount with new coolant.
