    • Customer states A/C does not blow cold and compressor does not engage. Tech evacuated A/C system and recovered 0.08 lbs of refrigerant out of 1.63 lb capacity. Tech found low side schrader valve leaking. Replaced both valves and recharged system to full capacity. Tech inspected system and did not find any further leaks at this time. A/C blows cold.
    • Complete inspection of A/C system. Evacuate system and recharge with A/C Leak detection dye with and up to 1 Lb of R134A refrigerant.

    • Includes testing and inspection of electrical circuits and components as needed. Connect scan tool or other test equipment to determine cause of failure. Removal of components as needed for access.
    • Customer states vehicle has a no-start condition. Has power, but nothing happens when trying to start vehicle, key gets stuck in ignition. Tech was able to duplicate concern. Tech recovered DTCs P0128: Coolant Thermostat. P0506: Idle Control System (RPMS too Low). U1064: Loss BCM, Vehicle Theft Deterrent, DIM, P2M, & OR SBM Data. Tech noticed radio is aftermarket and will stay on after vehicle is shut off. Removed components as needed for access to radio and disconnected unit. Vehicle now starts and runs with no issues. Key turns fine. Reconnected radio and tech is still unable to revive condition. Recommend radio removal or replacement. Customer request disconnect radio only. Recommend performing diag on other DTCs.

    • Customer states vehicle has lost communication with instrument cluster and speedometer is intermittently inop. Customer also experienced loss of power – Vehicle goes into limp mode and won't go over 35mph estimated. Also has high RPMS. Tech recovered DTCs P0720: Output shaft & P0722: Speed Sensor Circuit. Tech found lost communication with wheel speed sensors. TSB 16-0008 recommends checking transmission internal main frame wiring for faults and replacing based on DTCs and symptoms. Tech checked lead frame and verified internal failure/short. Trans wiring lost communication with speed sensors causing limp mode and lost comms with speedometer and instrument cluster. Recommend replacement. Customer authorized. Removed transmission pan and valve body for access to lead frame. Removed and replaced wiring with Ford OEM Replacement part. Re-installed valve body. Replaced transmission filter while access is granted and resealed pan with new fluid. Cleared DTCs and test drove vehicle to verify correct operation. Instrument cluster working properly, vehicle can reach high speeds, and no Check Engine Light is on. All monitors have been set.
    • MAIN CONTROL VALVE BODY (TRANS LEAD FRAME) – Remove & Replace
    • Tech noted on test drive, oil pressure drops to low when idling or moving at low speeds. Tech found upon oil leaks, the oil pressure sensor is leaking. Recommend oil change and sensor replacement. Customer did not authorize repairs at this time.

    • Customer states vehicle would not start previously. Believed vehicle needed jump started but was making a scraping noise on start-up and when running. Tech inspected starting system and found starter not disengaging with engine running. Starter servo was beginning to eat into housing. Recommend replacement. Customer authorize. Remove and replace starter with new part. Tested and vehicle now starts quietly with no issues.

    • LOF service due. Customer states oil change could not be performed because oil filler cap is stuck/broken. Tech removed top part of cap and used pliers to screw remaining cap out of oil filler neck. No damage noted at this time. Drain and refill with new oil and replace oil filter. Customer provided cap is incorrect fit. Order and replaced oil filler cap with new screw-on type cap. ***Tech noted oil is contaminated with metal. Engine may be coming apart internally and will need replaced in the future.
    • Customer request pull DTCs for Check Engine Light. No diagnosis. Tech Recovered DTCs P0171 – System Too Lean (B1). P0190 – Fuel Rail Pressure "A" Circuit Fault. P0300 – Random Misfire. P0304 – Misfire Cylinder 4. P1000 0BD11 – System Checks Incomplete. P1131 – HO2S Bank 1 Sensor 1 Indicates Lean. P1507 – Idle Air Control Under Speed Error. P1519 – Intake Manifold Runner Control Stuck Closed. ***Tech found Oil Pressure Sensor Unplugged and installed connector properly. ***Tech noted new battery is at 97/590CCAs. Needs replaced/warrantied.

    • Customer states HVAC mode settings do not change. Customer is unsure if blower motor is turning on, thinks it is inop or stuck on low setting. Tech checked blower motor and verified motor is very weak and stuck on low setting. Bypassed blower motor resistor and fan turned on for a few seconds. Verified blower resistor is bad. Recommend replacing blower motor and resistor and then rechecking. Customer authorize. Remove and replace failed components. Tested blower fan to verify correct operation. Tested HVAC settings and verified all settings now work properly (Face, Feet, Both, Defrost, etc). No further recommendations.
    • BLOWER MOTOR – Remove & Replace [Includes R&R Resistor]
    • Customer states vehicle has Check Engine Light. Tech recovered DTC P0496 – EVAP PCS (CPV) High Purge Flow. No testing performed at this time.
    • Customer states headlights are very dim and lenses are foggy. Request buffer service and assessment of lighting. Thoroughly cleaned headlamp lenses. Apply conditioner and use buffer gun to polish headlamp lens until clear. Inspected bulbs and verified dim lighting. No apparent wiring issues. Recommend replacing bulbs with new set w/ higher lumens. Customer authorize. Remove and replaced headlight bulbs (1750L) and tested to verify correct operation.

    • Customer previously requested diagnosis for oil leak. Oil leak detection dye revealed oil leaking from timing cover. Reschedule for repairs. Customer request LOF during repair. Drain oil from system and removed components as needed for access including Valve Cover and Intake Manifold. During repair, tech noted front right motor mount has rusted bold and is difficult to remove. Mount bushings old and soft. Tech recommends replacement while access is available. Customer authorize. Removed motor mount. Removed timing cover and replaced gaskets. Re-sealed timing cover. Replaced old motor mount and re-installed valve cover and intake manifold with new gaskets. Filled system to correct level of oil and test drove vehicle to verify no further leaks can be detected at this time.
    • LOF service due. Drain and refill with new oil and replace oil filter.
