- Customer states vehicle would not start previously. Believed vehicle needed jump started but was making a scraping noise on start-up and when running. Tech inspected starting system and found starter not disengaging with engine running. Starter servo was beginning to eat into housing. Recommend replacement. Customer authorize. Remove and replace starter with new part. Tested and vehicle now starts quietly with no issues.
